Aruliden was thrilled to work with Supergoop! to redesign everyone’s favorite everyday, clean sunscreen. Supergoop! has built a clear brand attitude that demonstrates trust, fun, and new rituals for sunscreen so customers can “Live Bright!” everyday.
Aruliden was tasked to expand upon that brand by rethinking the Supergoop!’s overall brand and packaging architecture. This culminated in the development of a scalable visual strategy that can stand on its own while staying true to the Supergoop! masterbrand.
Building upon the brand’s authentic voice (and signature exclamation point “!”), we set out to capture Supergoop!’s excitement, conviction and progress through a cohesive visual strategy that strengthened their message and makes using an SPF everyday desirable and fun–making it easy for anyone to fit Supergoop! products into their life.
The graphic system we created streamlined the brand’s product diversity to be immediately recognizable on the consumer level and also brought greater emphasis to consumer education.
As part of the brand refresh we also streamlined the Supergoop! logomark, retaining it’s idiosyncratic and playful character, while tidying it up into an easier to read digital and print friendly mark.
A sunny pop of Supergoop! yellow caps each product line, in addition to the brand’s signature seal, “Every. Single. Day.” These are instantly recognizable and act as brand signatures that, when paired with a consistent typography, layout, iconography, and finish, visually tie each product category together under one, unified packaging system.
